Industree Foundation has been selected as one of the winners of the National Contest on Social Innovation organised by the Ministry of External Affairs and NITI Aayog. The objective of the contest was to identify a pool of social impact innovators that have developed/are developing commercially viable solutions to the socio-economic problems of India. By 2026, it aims to create significant social and economic impact for one million artisans by setting up 30,000 inclusive enterprises, tied together on a single digital platform that is harnessed by the power of technology and the smartphone revolution, with a focus on skill development and gender equality.
